I am blown away on a daily basis at the kindness in the hearts of children. I am so lucky to get to hang out with my grandsons Zander and Zayden and have my granddaughter Kirzi just a couple hours away. They have the ability to say and do the sweetest things that no adult could ever pull off. When Zayden comes to my lap holding a book and a few blankets, I know I am in for a few minutes of heaven.

My oldest grandson, Zander, has the heart of a saint. He is always trying to do things to make people happy and feel good. I am so proud of the kindness that lurks in his heart. On Sunday, as we were all sitting around celebrating Father's Day, Zander disappeared for awhile and then appeared with a picture he drew for me. I melted as he handed it to me and explained what it was. He said it was a picture of his favorite things. He drew two people, which he said was him and I, a rainbow, some fireworks and two hearts on the back because he loved me more than just one heart could. I will never part with this masterpiece. Thank you Zander. What a beautiful gift.
