When a soldier pays the ultimate price and lays down his or her life protecting the freedom of our great country it goes largely unnoticed; until now. Every week I post names of those “who gave all” so I can pay my respects and remember why I/we have the freedom we do. Sometime names are added after I post this so you can check back during the week for names that have been added.
Army Staff Sgt. David P. Nowaczyk - Died April 15, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 32, of Dyer, Ind.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died April 15 in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by an improvised explosive device.
Marine Cpl. Aaron M. Faust - Died April 15, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 22, of Louisville, Ky.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died April 15 in Helmand province, Afghanistan, while supporting combat operations.
