Army Spc. Nicholas A. Taylor Among Those Who Died For You Last Week – Week 29 [VIDEOS]
When a soldier pays the ultimate price and lays down his or her life protecting the freedom of our great country it goes largely unnoticed. This week there are two names to report but that is two to many!
Every week I post names of those “who gave all” so I can pay my respects and remember why I have the freedom I enjoy today. As always, you don't need my permission to re-post this tribute.

Age 26, of Independence, Kan.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; died July 14 in Ghazni province, Afghanistan, of unspecified causes.

Army Staff Sgt. Carl E. Hammar - Died July 14, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 24, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment, 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; died July 14 in Khost province, Afghanistan, of wounds caused by small-arms fire.

Age 21, of Crown Point, Ind.; assigned to the 81st Troop Command, Indiana National Guard, Indianapolis, Ind.; died July 16 in Wali Kot district, Afghanistan, from injuries caused when his vehicle was hit by rocket-propelled grenades.

Army Sgt. Daniel A. Rodriguez - Died July 18, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 28, of Baltimore; assigned to 548th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, N.Y.; died July 18 in Ghazni City, Afghanistan, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device. Also killed was Army Sgt. Jose J. Reyes, 24, of San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico.
