I know I say it all the time but let's please not forget the sacrifice these brave individuals have given to our great country. Like Army Sgt. Enrique Mondragon who gave his life on Christmas Eve. Our freedom is a gift we should never take for granted. As we usher in a New Year, let's all keep the hope that 2013 will be the year we bring our family members home and we never again have to read these Monday KIA Honor posts

Age 42, of Pottstown, Pa.; assigned to an East Coast-based Naval Special Warfare Unit in Virginia Beach, Va.; Died Dec. 22 in Uruzgan province, Afghanistan, of a non-combat injury while supporting stability operations.
