Army Sgt. Christopher J. Birdwell Among Those Who Died For Us Last Week

When a soldier pays the ultimate price and lays down his or her life protecting the freedom of our great country it goes largely unnoticed. These are the Fathers, Sons, Brothers and Husbands who gave their life for what they believed in. Here are the most recent hero's “who gave all” so let's fly those flags at 'half staff' in our hearts in their honor and in my opinion, all flags, should be flown at half staff till they ALL come home.

Army Spc. Mabry J. Anders - Died August 27, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 21, of Baker City, Ore.; assigned to 4th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; died Aug. 27 in Kalagush, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered from small-arms fire. Also killed was Army Sgt. Christopher J. Birdwell, 25, of Windsor, Colo.

Army Staff Sgt. Jessica Wing - Died August 27, 2012 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom. Age 42, of Alexandria, Va.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 126th Aviation Regiment, Maine National Guard, Bangor, Maine; died Aug. 27 in Kuwait City, Kuwait, in a noncombat incident.
