For all the times I've been behind a Brink's vehicle I have never experienced this. An armored car lost some of it money on the highway in Weld County yesterday. Weld County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the report of a Brink’s armored car that was parked in a lane of traffic on Hwy 66 near WCR 7. Deputies discovered that a the rear doors of the armored vehicle had come open while it was traveling on Hwy 66 and a large amount of coins had fallen out of the back. Sheriff’s Deputies slowed and blocked traffic on Hwy 66 for a short amount of time to allow the incident to be cleaned up. At this time, it is unknown if all of the coins were recovered from the roadway.
