The month of May included every type of weather we could think of, and overall it turned out to be a chilly month. Will June be much of the same?

According to the Denver Post, below normal temperatures are still expected throughout the next month and we can also expect to see precipitation that will exceed expectations.

One difference that we could see from month to month? The chance of severe weather could have the chance to be much more than May.

Areas in eastern Colorado, including Fort Collins, Greeley, and Loveland, could see temperatures dipping close to one to two degrees below what they should be this time of year.

Once you get west of the Continental Divide, temperatures could be higher than average for the state.

Statewide, we could see much higher rainfall totals than usual and the mountains could still see snowfall occur throughout the month of June as well.
