Announcing the Winner of Our Kenny Chesney Contest

We’re happy to announce that John Bruce Evans is the official winner of last month’s Kenny Chesney contest! Evans and a guest will fly from Texas to Green Bay, where they’ll see Chesney play at Lambeau Field on June 11, and get the chance to meet the superstar.
We put on the contest last month with the help of our friends at Taste of Country. Read more about Evans — plus your chance to win a trip to see Brad Paisley in West Palm Beach, Fla. — after the jump.
Evans told Taste of Country he’ll be giving one of the tickets to his teenage daughter. “My wife and I both entered in hopes of winning and surprising my 15-year-old daughter with the tickets for her birthday — she’s fixing to be 16 on Monday, May 9,” Evans says. “We’re somewhat still in shock that we won!”
The couple says they brought the whole family to see Chesney seven years ago, and they’re excited to see his show again. The thing about Chesney’s music they like the most, they say, is his breezy outlook on life. “I dream of living on the beach and soaking up the sun with a cold one in my hand,” Evans says.
Big congrats to John Bruce Evans, and don’t forget to enter for a chance to see and meet Brad Paisley in West Palm Beach, Fla!
