Earlier this year The Allstate Insurance Company released their eighth annual "Allstate America's Best Drivers Report." According to their report, Sioux Falls, South Dakota took hoe the title of "America's Safest Driving City."

But, did you know that Fort Collins, Colorado came in on that same list ranked number-three in the country?

The report is based off of Allstate claims data and puts a ranking on the 200 largest cities in the country in order of car collision frequency and the number of people driving there.

They say that a typical Fort Collins driver can expect to experience an auto collision every 13.6 years, which is more than  26 percent less likely than the national average of 10 years.

I guess I should start carrying around a lucky rabbit's foot...I've been driving for 16 years and have yet to be in any kind of car accident.

Other Colorado cities on that list included Aurora at #54, Colorado Springs at #23, and Denver at #55.
