I was one of those kids who would hang around the record store for hours on end several times a week. I would just stand there and flip through the albums and stare for the whole day. I would think about which ones I would buy when I got my allowance. I spent every penny I ever got in those stores. The major label debut by A Thousand Horses "Southernality" hit the stores on Tuesday and it takes me back to those days. This is the kind of album I would have held in my hand as I listened to it over and over again.

Here I am, nearly 50 years old, and I am holding this CD cover like I used to hold those album covers that I coveted. I have not been able to pull this disc out of my player since I put it in. I love every single song on this baby.

From the opening riff of "First Time" to the final note of "Where I'm Going", this is a musical journey you will want to take over and over again. There are so many flavors on this and there is something for every musical palate. If you like your country 'country', you will love "Smoke", "Drunk Dial", "Tennessee Whiskey", "Back to Me" and many others. If like your country with a bit of a rocking attitude you will dig "Heaven is Close", "Landslide", "Southernality", "Trailer Trashed" and my favorite, "Travelin' Man".
