A Kid’s Place CASA Program and Child Advocacy Center will hold its first annual 5K/1K/Kids Superhero Run and Family Event on Saturday September 28th at 8:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Townsquare in Greeley. It was originally scheduled for the 14th of September, but the flood caused the event to be moved to a different day.  This is near and dear to my heart.  A Kid's Place is one of our 28 Hours of Hope charities.

The Superhero Run will raise awareness and funds for programs for children who have been abused or neglected. This event includes a certified course, a kids fun run, costume contests and other kids activities. Prizes will be given in many categories.

Superheroes are those that bring hope to others. Be a Superhero by getting involved and making positive impact on the lives of many children who are victims of abuse in our community. “Every child needs a hero, abused kids need superheroes.”
