A Hidden Gem Just West of Loveland – Beaver’s Den Leather
My wife Jenny and I volunteered over the weekend for Charley’s Sleigh Riders Motorcycle Toy Run. It was a blast! We worked the 1st stop – Beaver’s Den Leather. I had never been there before. What a magnificent little spot at the foot of the Big Thompson Canyon!
We were running the BB gun station. Riders had to shoot the card they wanted to help complete their poker hand. I had to laugh because half of the people complained that the BB guns shoot a little to the right. The other half were “great shots”. It was a great time for a great cause in a beautiful spot.
If you have never been to Beaver’s Den Leather, you need to stop in some time. In addition to their huge selection of leathers, they have a picnic area in the back including a 40 foot waterfall. They even have spots available next to the waterfall for tent camping.
Thanks to Charley Barnes for assigning this stop to my wife and me along with are friends Parker & Walker… and yes Charley, we will do it again next year.
