I will have more to say about this next week when I get some of the video from the night but I wanted to just quickly say a few things about our mind blowing experience in Nashville for our Country Radio Hall of Fame induction. I still really can't believe this happened. This was the highlight of my career and I will cherish the memories of the two days we just spent in Nashville forever.

Just a couple of quick thank yous that I need to say now and, as I said, I will get some video from the night up next week and let you 'hear' what we had to say. I want to say thank you to my dear friend Jordan Dawson for joining us to cover the event and be there for us in every way possible. I love her with all my heart and cherish our friendship. Thank you to my parents for making the drive from North Dakota to be there. I have the best parents in the world. Thank you to Kyla, Bob and Jenny for being at our side the whole ride and being the best spouses on the planet. A big thanks to our dear friends Dan + Shay for coming to see us receive our honor as well. I love those men.

I can't find the words to say what Dave Collins means to me. Dave is pictured with us above with some art work he did for us to commemorate the event. This beautiful piece will be hung pridefully in a very visible place in my home. Dave gave the introduction speech for us that night and his was by far the best of the evening. You can search the world over and not find a better human being than Dave Collins. My parents now consider Dave part of the family as well.

Finally I just want to say how proud I am of my partners Todd Harding and Susan Moore. I don't feel our acceptance speeches could have gone any better. I will be getting the video of that up here as soon as I get my hands on it. We were the last inductees of the night. The crowd was getting a little groggy and then Susan hit the stage in her dress and the crowd lit up. She looked stunning and her words were absolutely perfect. She made the crowd laugh and had them in her hands. Pure elegance and class and a true trailblazer for women in a business that was usually very male dominated. Susan shined like the diamond she is. Todd hit the podium next and, like myself and Susan, did not have a single word written down and just spoke from the heart. He was killing it. The crowd was laughing and loving every minute he was up there. I was so proud that these were the two people I get to spend the majority of my life with. You will hear and see more from the night soon but I had to get this our while it was fresh in my head. Thank YOU once again for being the most important part of this honor. There is no us without you. We are Northern Colorado proud.
