A Few Pictures From a Perfect Colorado Easter in Greeley and Holyoke [PICTURES]
I had such a wonderful Easter weekend I really didn't want it to end. There was so much food and laughter and fun and so many memories that I will cherish forever. We overplayed and over-ate and were overjoyed. How much better could it get?
We started a little early by having some snow fun on Thursday. My wife Kyla and my youngest grandson Zayden hit the front yard and made Zayden's first ever snowman. He just loved that guy...until he melted down to a snowball with a stick beside it the next day.
Friday morning Kyla, my daughter Vanessa and Zayden went over to Centerra in Loveland and hit the Build-A-Bear Workshop to make a new friend for Zayden. He was in heaven getting to design and create his very own little buddy. They have been inseparable ever since. His new friend is named Peter.
Saturday we awoke early and loaded the boys up in the truck and headed out to Holyoke to visit my son, his lovely bride to be Kia and our granddaughter Kirzi. It was an absolute joy getting to just sit back and watch my three grandchildren play and laugh together. They jumped, played in the pretend kitchen, looked out the window at passing traffic and just had a blast being kids.
They even took the time to sit down and have a little lunch together. I couldn't quit smiling just watching them together. My heart was filled with love and satisfaction. It doesn't take gifts to make a gathering memorable, it just takes people who love each other. I am so grateful for such a blessed Easter weekend. I hope yours was a memory maker too. God bless the child.
