Once a week my hometown newspaper, the Greeley Tribune, puts together what they call their Crime Log. Basically they find the weirdest stuff that the cops encountered, and believe me there is a lot in the town over the previous week. This week, the most redneck sounding thing I have ever heard in my life.
A small wildland fire is burning on US Forest Service lands in a remote area several miles east of Estes Park, Colorado, and north of Highway 34. The approximately two acre Granite Gulch fire was reported late this afternoon.
The Greeley-Weld Law Enforcement Torch Run for Colorado Special Olympics will take place Thursday, May 29, 2014. The 26-mile run begins at 8 a.m. in Frederick/Firestone and heads north on Weld County Road 13 to Johnstown, goes east on Highway 60 to Milliken
