As some of you know, I drive a semi part time for C&H Excavation in Ault and they are doing a food drive for the holidays. It's my wish, you will help me help those in need this year.

This food drive was actually brought to my attention by a fellow driver I work with who shall remain nameless (Todd Blehm) at this point. He had mentioned that the manager of the Welding division, Conor Tracy, was spearheading this noble effort. He wanted to get the company involved in a food drive to benefit the Denver Rescue Mission. (Local food banks have already met their needs.)

Donations are being accepted through December and I want to help as much as I can so I am asking, if not begging, for you to help us help those who need our help this year more than ever; they too deserve a nice holiday meal for their families.

Conor, and C&H Excavation, are looking for non-perishable food items, and lot's of them. Any dry non-perishable food will work: not just a holiday meal:

  • Potatoes (Whole or Instant)
  • Canned green beans, corn, cranberries
  • Stuffing
  • Cornbread
  • Cereal
  • Powered Milk, Sugar, Flour etc.
  • Butter
  • Crackers
  • Peanut Butter
  • Chili
  • Stew
  • Toiletries
  • Blankets
  • Gently used clothing

If you know where I live, you are more than welcome to bring your donation by or just drop it off. You can also bring your donation into the K99 studios (600 Main St) in Windsor and just tell whoever is at the front desk, if I'm not here, that I will be picking up your donation. You can also get YOUR office involved by gathering some goods and then I will personally come by and pick them up or you can take your donation directly to the C&H Excavation corporate offices (115 2nd Ave) in Ault or directly to the shop (14150 WCR 33) where all the donations are being stored.

For more information, or to have me come by to pick up your donation, just email charley@k99.com
