2013 Greeley Stampede 4th Of July Parade Route & Information
Everyone loves a parade and when it comes to parades, there aren’t many, if any, that are bigger than the 4th of July Greeley Stampede Parade.
The Greeley Stampede is rich in tradition and heritage dating back to the late 1800s drawing close to 450,000 people annually from all parts of the United States and several foreign countries. This years parade is Thursday July 4th starting at 9 AM and you will want to get there early for a good seat.
The Parade route runs South down 10th Ave from UNC all the way downtown. In fact, those who want a really good spot stake them out days before. There is still time to get an entry in but you’ll need to be quick so follow this link and sign up as the deadline is Friday June 21st.. Judges will be spaced along the parade route to view each performance from a different aspect and will find winners in the following categories:
- Marching Bank (Cash for the top 3)
- Float (Cash for the top 3)
- Walking Group (Award)
- Best Equestrian-Group of Horses (Award)
- Best Equestrian-Horse Drawn (Award)
- Vehicles (Award)
- Novelty (Award)
- Best Overall (Will be chosen from all winners)
