This is probably the best ride of the year. It's the longest parade ride for sure clocking in at 100 miles and every intersection is controlled for one continuous ride. It's AWESOME!

Ride 911 was supposed to be a one-time event; it's now in it's 10th year. This ride is hands down my favorite Summer ride of the year. Wait, it is my favorite ride of the year because there is no other ride that rivals this one including the Sleigh Riders Christmas Toy Run.

The ride this year will be on Saturday, August 29 and honors the American flight crews of 93 and 175 and United flight crew from 11 and 77 who all lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

The run starts at the Colorado National Speedway off I-25 and is a 100 mile parade ride that doesn't stop.  No stop signs, no lights etc., all intersections are controlled and shut-down for one continuous, non-stop 100 mile ride!

Registration is from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with the ride leaving shortly after 3:30 p.m. and back around 5:45 p.m. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FULL TANK or you will be left behind if you have to stop for gas. All riders are then invited to do 3-4 laps on the track and then park on the infield for that night's opening ceremonies.

Cost is only $15 and that does include your admission fee to the races and food is provided on site to purchase as well. All riders get to sit in the hospitality section during registration to watch hot laps and also the races after the ride that evening.

All monies raised, after minor expenses, go towards aviation scholarships at Metro State University in Denver.
