ChaserCon, the 14th annual National Storm Chasers Convention will be held February 17-19th at the Red Lion Hotel located at I-70 and Quebec.

The Tornado Experts Once Again To Meet In Denver

Every February since 1998, storm chasers from all over the world have gathered in the Mile High City to share stories, techniques and talk about tornadoes — the most amazing subjects in the world of severe weather!

This year, the 14th annual gathering of these real life versions of the characters in the movie “Twister” will be here in Denver, and you are invited to partake in their stories and meet some of celebrities of storm chasing.

The 24/7 Weather Center and 7NEWS are once again the proud media sponsors of this year’s National Storm Chaser Convention being held from Feb. 17-19 at the Red Lion Hotel at I-70 and Quebec.

The convention is being put on by Colorado Storm Chasers Roger Hill and Tim Samaras for the 14th year in a row.

This Year’s Featured Speakers:

Roger Hill has personally witnessed over 600 tornadoes and is the author of a great book on storm chasing – HUNTING NATURE’S FURY.

Tim Samaras is one of the featured storm chasers from this season’s show on Discovery and has actually taken video from inside of tornadoes!

Every year, storm chasers from around the world gather to share storm stories, learn about new weather gadgets, and listen to talks on the latest in weather news from experts all over the country.

Guest speakers this year include Sean Casey from Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers, Dr Greg Forbes from TWC, Dr Howie Bluestein, Tim Marshall from Vortex II, Rich Thompson lead forecaster from the Storm Prediction Center, Dr Jason Persoff (medical doc talking about Joplin first response), and several others.
