National Armed Forces Day is coming up in May and a holiday not everyone celebrates but for those of who do, and ride, it's a day to never forget. Thank a Vet!

The National Armed Forces Day FreedomRide - Colorado takes place along with many other states on Saturday, May 16th this year.

This years ride starts at Takoda Tavern (12311 Pine Bluffs Way) in Parker at 0730. Pre-registration is open for just $20 per rider plus $5 if you bring a passenger; cost goes up to $25.00 the day of the event plus $5 for a passenger.

Breakfast will be available and the stops will once again be appropriate for the day including a stop at Fort Logan National Cemetery where you can sign a poster. The run ends back at the Takoda Tavern in Parker for raffle items, a live auction and lots more.

Our Mission is to pay our respects to those that have served and those that are currently serving. To show them we value them for their service and have not forgotten them. To bring awareness to those around us of the courage and selflessness of these brave men and women. Our Purpose is to pay tribute to Armed Forces Day and to acknowledge all those in the military, past and present. Money raised will be given to Blue Star Mothers of Colorado - Denver Chapter and to Pets for Vets. All vehicles are welcome and encourage to attend.
