53 Years Ago 74 Million People Watched The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show [VIDEO]

I would love to go back in time and experience certain events that have happened in our country's history. I would have loved to be around when Elvis first lit up the world and feel what that was like. I would have also loved to have been around to feel the fever that spread across the country when The Beatles first arrived in the USA. I have watched many documentaries but cannot imagine what it really felt like.

Watching old TV clips is as close as I can get to being in that time and space and this clip takes me there. It was on this date in 1964 that John, Paul, George and Ringo first hit the screen on the Ed Sullivan Show and blew away the TV watching universe. Take a cruise back with me to that electric time in music history.
