36 Years Ago Kenny Rogers Taught Us How to Play Poker [VIDEO]

Kenny Rogers has been a musical institution for 6 decades now. He has had so many memorable songs that are part of the musical fabric that bonds us all in song. Generation after generation have sung his songs but perhaps none have been as popular as "The Gambler". That song made such an impact on the music world no matter if you were country, rock, blues or soul, you knew and sang along to "The Gambler". It was the one song my father in law would sing all the time. It drove us all nuts.

The song became so popular that there was a series of movies about it and even now is featured in a very funny TV ad. Thank you for this piece of music history Kenny and for being the classy man you are and have always been. Kenny has even donated to our 28 Hours of Hope many many time. We love Kenny and this classic that hit number one 36 years ago today.
