Old Town Fort Collins is filled with years of history and character, and despite how much the town has expanded throughout the years, many charming memories of how it all began can still be revisited. 

The 32nd Annual Historic Homes Tour is the perfect opportunity to take a trip back in time and get a glimpse of Fort Collins' historical past. Happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, those participating in the tour will get the chance to step inside six historic Old Town Fort Collins homes that were built sometime between 1879 and 1925, as well as the city-owned Avery House and 1883 Water Works Building. Aside from the Water Works building, each home on the tour is within walking distance of the Avery House, located at 328 W. Mountain Avenue, and tour attendees can also ride the Municipal Railway Trolley for free on the day of the tour. The Trattoria Oreganata food truck will be also be on-site at the Avery House selling refreshments to thirsty tour-goers. Proceeds from the Historic Homes Tour go towards the nonprofit Poudre Landmarks Foundation's mission to preserve, restore, protect, and interpret the architectural and cultural heritage of the Fort Collins area.
