My generation has known the Simpson family for a long time. The Simpsons have been around for 30 years now. Today is the anniversary of the very first appearance of The Simpsons when they were featured in a short film on The Tracey Ullman Show with an episode called "Goodnight" in 1987.

It's rather entertaining to see and hear the difference in the characters from that first hello to what they are like 30 years later. Homer sure has changed since we first laid eyes on him.
