30-Year-Old Suspect Arrested in North Fort Collins Stabbing

A 30-year-old man was arrested on assault charges after a stabbing in North Fort Collins just before 7 last night.

According to press release from the Larimer County Sheriff's Department, Abad Leon is being held at the Larimer County Jail on 2 counts of 1st degree assault. He also had a warrant from Fort Collins Police for failure to comply on an aggravated Motor Vehicle Theft Charge.

Larimer County Sheriff's Deputies were called to 2025 North College in Fort Collins on a report of a 25-year-old man bleeding from his head. The unidentified victim was treated at the scene and taken to Medical Center of the Rockies. He had slashes to his body, head, and hands. A second person was injured after trying to help the victim and was treated at the scene.
