The 14th Annual 28 Hours of Hope was a huge success.  Brian and I stayed on the air for 28 Hours in a row to give the K99 listeners a chance to shine...and shine they did!  Over $73, was raised for 3 local organizations that help fight child abuse right here in Northern Colorado:  A Kid's Place in Greeley, Namaqua Center in Loveland, and the Larimer County Child Advocacy Center in Loveland! THANK YOU! You all stepped up again and we are very very grateful!

Thank you to everyone who helped and there were so many.  A special thank you to all of the volunteers from all 3 agencies and from all of our co-workers at Townsquare Media. We couldn't do the the 28 Hours without Karen Baumgartner. She is the only person besides us who has done all 14 events and without her, it wouldn't get done!

Most of all I want to personally thank Brian for being Brian. I don't know anyone else in the world who could pull off over 40 interviews in 28 Hours and make each and everyone personal, funny, and engaging. He is simply the most talented, passsionate and compassionate person I know.  I am truly blessed to work with him.

Thank you to all of our special celebrity guests who appeared on the 28 Hours:

Blair Garner, Sunny Sweeney, Darryl Worley, Bill Engvall, Eden’s Edge, Chris Cagle, Phil Vassar,  Charlie Daniels, Justin Moore, Hunter Hayes, Gloriana, James Wesley, Big Kenny, Brett Eldredge, Lia, Brantley Gilbert, Jana Kramer, Kip Moore, Josh Thompson, Josh Turner, The Dirt Drifters, Steve Holy, Thompson Square, Sawyer Brown (Hobie), Jerrod Niemann, David Nail, Dustin Lynch, Craig Campbell, Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Clint Black, The Band Perry, Kory Brunson, Austin Wahlert, Kenny Rogers, Bradley Gaskin, Children’s Book Author Jon Holsten, Andy Gibson, Kellie Pickler, and CSU Football Coach Jim McElwain. You can listen to many of those interviews here!

Colorado Crude Carriers, Noble Energy, Fritzler Family Farms, PDC Energy, Gold Roofing, and Water Valley all stepped up big time.  Without them our total would have been much, much lower. Thanks especially to Mary Beth and Shelley for making that happen.

First of all thanks to TheArtist Kelsie who painted an original work of art for the 28 Hours  titled "Hug Me", and thanks to Jerry's Artarama, who donated Kelsie's canvas.  Thanks to Wynonna and Kenny Rogers who donated autographed items...and thanks to Brian Ward who donated a Denver Broncos plaque that featured an autographed picture of John Elway.  Thank you to everyone who bid on those items. Without you, there is no auction.
