2013 CMA Awards Worst Dressed Pictures
Most of the artists who make the 2013 CMA Awards Worst Dressed list would have benefitted from a quick look in the mirror before stepping out. "Disheveled" is how one could describe a few of these five stars. Suits that don't fit and gowns fit for a first trip to your future mother-in-law's house get noticed for all the wrong reasons. Please, don't try this at home.
Brett Eldredge must have bulked up between his fitting and his walk down the red carpet. Either that or he put this shimmery, deep ocean blue number in the dryer a half a dozen times. The look worked better later in the show, under softer light.
Jana Kramer looks like she's trying to hide a fresh tattoo from her mother and father, and she's robbing country fans of seeing one of the best smiles in Nashville. Singer Hayley Orrantia also chose a floor-length skirt with more colors than you'll find in a bag of Skittles. If that's what's in now, we're proud to be out.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill stepped onto the CMAs red carpet as if they were getting their hanky-panky on in the limo on the way to the show. McGraw is often unbuttoned to just above his belly button, but the rest of the look is sloppy. A more adventurous hairdo would help Hill make this gown work. A number of female stars chose similar styles.
Jason Aldean picked a camel-colored jacket to complement his signature cowboy hat. That's a statement, but the three-button vest is where he really went wrong. You can't dress for the ball above the waist, but the rodeo down below. Overall, it's just confusing.
Brantley Gilbert gets a lot of leeway for being country music's baddest bad boy. This looks is just a little too busy, however. The t-shirt, skull jacket and bling are enough to snap one's head around. We can't figure out where to look ... although the shoes are pretty rockin' -- just not with this outfit.
