We had the first significant snow of the season over the weekend in Northern Colorado.

According to the National Weather Service, Greeley received 7.4 inches from Saturday into Sunday, Loveland reported 5.5 inches, Estes Park had 9.5 inches and Fort Collins officially reported 3 inches.

However!

The National Weather Service Denver/Boulder tweeted the following early Sunday morning

A few snowfall reports from our weather spotters overnight. Heaviest snowfall occurred in the Fort Collins/Loveland areas. A 7" report just came in from NE Fort Collins. Only a dusting to 1" observed so far in most of Denver metro, outside of the far northern suburbs

I think we got about 3 or 4 inches at our house in West Fort Collins. My lovely wife, Jenny, went out Sunday morning and took these beautiful photos:
