Boulder County is reporting its first human case of the West Nile virus of the summer. It’s the third human case in Colorado this year. According to 7News, the Niwot resident reported symptoms of fever, chills, body aches, swollen lymph glands, and severe fatigue and is currently recovering at home.

The other cases of West Nile are in Saguache and Pueblo Counties.

At least 14 states so far this summer have reported human cases of West Nile which is typically spread through mosquitoes.
