Colorado Honor Flight Departs for Washington DC
If you were up and out early yesterday morning, you may have seen the first leg of an amazing trip to Washington D.C. 122 veterans met at Embassy Suites in Loveland yesterday morning for the ‘Honor Flight Northern Colorado’ departure.

‘Honor Flight Northern Colorado’ was organized in 2008 to give every World War II and Korean War-era veteran in northern Colorado a free, 2-day trip to visit memorials in Washington, D.C. Veterans and their families filled 4 chartered buses en route to D.I.A. led by Patriot Guard motorcycles and Larimer County Sheriff’s Office vehicles.
The next Honor Flight Northern Colorado will depart May 5, 2013. To download an application or to donate, visit honorflightnortherncolorado.org.
