Some things in this world just go together, peanut butter and jelly, bacon and eggs, macaroni and cheese, the good morning guys and pie and of course, drinking songs and country music. Country music’s history is filled with musical salutes to tasty adult beverages from the early days with Hank Sr. to new ones like “One More Drinking Song” by Jerrod Niemann. I can remember as a kid sitting in the basement with my dad and his buddies singing “Hey bartender I’ll have a six pack to go” of course at my ripe age of 3, I was talking about a six pack of Bubble Up. What is your favorite country drinking song? “Jose Cuervo”, “Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink”, “All My Rowdy Friends”, “She’s Acting Single I’m Drinking Double”, “Friends In Low Places” are a few that come to mind immediately. My all time favorite is a little known George Jones song called “The King Is Gone (So Are You)”.

According to Taste of Country.com here are the  100 Best Drinking Songs of all time, I disagree with many on here but see where your favorite ended up on the list.
